Midwife<\/strong><\/h2>

The midwife will monitor you during the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. \u00a0She is a health professional and coach to healthy pregnant women, who you can go to with all your questions. At your appointments with the midwife, she will monitor the development of your baby and perform one or more ultrasounds to determine the duration of your pregnancy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Alexandra Knijnenburg of\u00a0<\/span>Breastfeeding Center Vitanova<\/u><\/span><\/a>\u00a0is one of the first lactation specialists in the Netherlands\u00a0and is officially registered with the IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) since 1993. She also stood at the forefront of the Dutch Professional Association of Lactation Consultants (NVL). Customers of Kraamzorg Het Zonnetje can attend breastfeeding courses at the Breastfeeding Center Vitanova. Alexandra can be reached during the maternity period for questions or problems with breastfeeding. Any telephone advice is free of charge. Do you need the right equipment during your pregnancy and maternity period? In this time you can use equipment like bed-risers, bed pan or a shower chair. This stuff will be reimbursed by the most health insurers.\u00a0<\/p>

Private Pregnancy Yoga Classes<\/strong><\/h2>

Kraamzorg Het Zonnetje employs a pregnancy yoga teacher, especially for our families. She can give you private pregnancy yoga classes at your home. You don’t have to leave the house yourself, because the teacher will come to you. It is available during the day, in the evening and on weekends.<\/p>

Normally are the costs of 2 private lessons of 1.5 hours per lesson \u20ac 190 euro.<\/p>

Especially for our families we have a special action, so that you can use our beautiful lessons (almost) free of charge. Are you interested in pregnancy yoga? What is pregnancy yoga for<\/em>?
It is nice to prepare well for the birth and everything that is to come. If you are (partially) insured for a pregnancy course, your health insurer will also (partially) reimburse the private lessons. Our teacher gives the lessons at your home. The advantage of this is that you will probably be at home for a large part of the labor and it is useful to do exercises that you may also be able to do during that part of your labor. With two private lessons for yourself and\/or with your partner, you can already be well prepared.<\/p>

What will you learn?<\/em>
We cover, among other things, the phases of childbirth, coping with the contractions, pressing positions, what your partner can do for you, breathing and relaxation exercises and, because they are private lessons, we can tailor it to your needs. After these lessons, you will look forward to the birth with confidence.<\/p>

It is also useful to prepare for a second or subsequent birth.<\/p>

When?<\/em>
We advise you to take these classes before the 34th week, for example between weeks 30 and 35 of your pregnancy. Usually the woman takes one class for herself, without a partner, in which we do many exercises and in which we cover the basics of breathing techniques, among other things. And then after that, 1 week or 2 weeks later, the partner lesson. During the partner lesson, our teacher will tell you everything, how it can go during your birth, so the practical side and how your partner can support you in terms of support, so that you are well prepared together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

At maternity care Het Zonnetje, in addition to physical tap care, we offer the possibility to use digital information and instruction and it is fully reimbursed by your health insurer. You don’t have to pay a personal contribution for this.<\/p>

Reliable digital support<\/strong><\/p>

For digital information and instruction, we use the Babybalance<\/a> platform. We have partnered with this platform to provide you with reliable digital support.<\/p>

The platform offers instructional videos that provide information on a variety of topics related to the pregnancy, postpartum period and the first three months of the baby. You can find the videos on\u00a0 the Babybalance<\/a> website \u00a0or watch them in the Babybalance<\/a> app. Download the app for Apple<\/a> or Android<\/a>. The videos are based on protocols that we work with in maternity care and have been tested by health insurers. This way you can be sure that you are getting the right information anytime, anywhere.<\/p>

In addition, Babybalance<\/a> offers an e-magazine full of information per trimester. There is also an active social media platform and even a knowledge quiz. You get all this from the moment you are pregnant until 3 months after your due date. After this date, the account will automatically stop.<\/p>
